Quantity Surveyor – Blackburn Based – Perm role – up to £55k depending on experience

This is a great opportunity to work within a leading infrastructure group. This organisation are looking for a Quantity Surveyor, with excellent technical and communication skills who will provide a quality service and have ambition to progress their career and the business in which they operate to join the Programme Management Office Team.

The role will primarily be based within the Blackburn office; however, travel to projects across the UK may also be required.

Experience required
- Development surveying experience in consultancy;
- Experience in developing business cases;
- Proven track record of development and viability appraisals;
- Degree qualified in a construction related discipline; QS, BS, Civil Engineering;
- Chartered in suitable discipline (e.g. MRICS);
- Experience of a range of procurement methods and management methodologies
- Excellent oral and written communicator with the ability to motivate teams and work in close partnership with clients. Must be delivery driven with the ability to set targets and manage and motivate
