About the role
As a Senior System Engineer, you’ll be a highly skilled professional who thrives off a challenging environment surrounded by a team full of experience. Your new role will require you to complete a range of tasks, including:
- Streamlining operations and system processes
- Building key metrics to measure system performance
- Diagnose operational incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Build and maintain Hadoop services
- Ensure solutions that are compliant with the Bank’s security requirements and within the risk appetite
About you
- Experience in Linux environments is essential
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell Scripting and Python
- The ability to design and develop solutions that are secured, robust and efficient
- Experience in container based platforms
- Experience with administration of Cloudera Hadoop clusters is desirable
- Be able to lead the team in projects and make tactical decisions
