Financial Analyst

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new position of Financial Analyst with an award winning organisation based in York, North Yorkshire.

Requirements:

We are keen to hear from applicants who can demonstrate a successful track record of data analysis and strong financial modelling in a Financial Analyst role. Additionally, you will be educated to degree level and hold relevant professional or specialised qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA.

Key responsibilities for the role of Financial Analyst include:

• Providing analytical expertise with extensive modelling ability resulting in robust analysis for decision making across the business
• Supporting the Senior Finance Managers to provide finance business partnering across the group
• Provide financial challenge, support and insights to the business that deliver tangible benefits
• Assist the Senior Finance Managers and the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to deliver department objectives and the Group business plan, helping to ensure that all resources are fully optimised
