Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join a forward thinking, dynamic business based in Hull.
As Financial Controller, reporting into the CFO, your duties will include:
- Responsibility for day to day financial management for the business
- Supporting the ongoing development of a small team
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of cash-flow forecasts
- Monthly reconciliation of accounts balance sheets
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts; reporting on variances
- Management and implementation of strong financial controls and practices
- Preparation of audit files and liaison with auditors
The successful Financial Controller will:
- Be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with strong PQE experience gained in a commercial setting
- Be able to build strong working relationships quickly and business partner with key stakeholders
- Have excellent communication skills across all channels
- Be commercially focused with the desire to add value and improve working practices
