Accounts Assistant (VC909) Scarborough, England
Castle Accountancy and Finance are recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant for a family run business based in Scarborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous Accounts Assistant experience to gain experience in a multi-skilled and varied role within a thriving local business.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to:
- General banking as required
- Managing petty cash
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with credit control
- Assisting with the sales and purchase ledger
- Assisting with year-end
- Liaising with external auditors
- First point of contact for general enquiries
The successful candidate will:
- Be qualified to at least AAT Level 2 or have relevant experience
- Work well independently or within a team environment
- Have excellent time management
- Be a sound communicator across all channels
- Have experience using MS Excel and Sage
- Be a conscientious team player
- Be flexible with working hours
