An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a recently created position of Commercial Analyst with a marketing leading organisation based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire.

Requirements:

We are keen to hear from applicants who can demonstrate a successful track record of data analysis and financial modelling in a Commercial Analyst role. Additionally, you will have a sound understanding of accounts, strong IT and database skills together with excellent communication skills across all levels.

Key responsibilities for the role of Commercial Analyst include:

  • Supporting the Commercial Manager to provide finance business partnering across the organisation
  • Provide financial challenge, support and insights to the business that deliver tangible benefits
  • Assisting with sales & margin forecasting
  • Assist with risk analysis within sales forecasts across the group
  • Support with tendering documents
  • Analyse pricing on a component level and review of bespoke quotes
  • Ensuring consistent margin application across project specific quotes
  • Supporting project managers to ensure effective delivery
  • Cash mapping of bespoke projects and roll out programmes across the business
  • Reviewing rebate agreements and monitoring amounts due
  • Production of ad-hoc financial reports
  • Collation of information to drive efficiencies within various departments of the business
  • To be able to demonstrate key IT competencies including database work, SAP and MS Word, Project, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
