Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Qualified Accountant to work alongside an experienced team based near the outskirts of Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

Ideally, you will have previous experience working in an Accountancy Practice environment.

The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Meeting with existing clients on a regular basis; building long term business relationships
• Working on site with clients taking them through their accounts, fact finding and carrying out audits where required
• Involvement with the wider business and becoming an integral part of the team

To be considered for this exciting Accounts Senior role, you will need the following experience:

• Be a qualified accountant or have a strong background in practice
• Have a thorough understanding of the UK Tax system including VAT
• Be able to produce detailed accounts for a variety of businesses including; sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Have experience using QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or a relevant accountancy package
