Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Trainee Management Accountant to join a successful manufacturing business based in Malton, North Yorkshire

• This is a great opportunity for a candidate who has attained an accountancy related degree or AAT Level 4 and is keen to study for their CIMA qualification

This Trainee Management Accountant role will be varied and challenging to enable the gaining of wide experience to support with CIMA study. The role would suit a driven candidate who is seeking to build on and enhance their existing finance experience in a fast-paced environment.

Duties will include:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Stock weekly and monthly reporting
• Sales and purchase ledger v balance sheet
• Bank posting and reconciliations
• Consolidate monthly FTE reporting
• Identifying and developing improvements to processes and controls
• Provision of weekly and monthly reporting
• Assisting in the year end activities for the site including Audit Files and statutory accounts
• Ad Hoc reporting for Group

Our client is looking for a candidate who is either AAT qualified, part-qualified or an Accountancy graduate. Skills in the following areas will be advantageous

• Strong level of MS Excel
• Ability to prioritise and manage workload and projects
• Previous working knowledge of accounting and reporting systems would be advantageous
