Salary: GBP11 - GBP11 per hour

Castle Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for an experienced, self-motivated, purchase ledger to provide support for an expanding manufacturing business based in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. This exciting role of Purchase Ledger will encompass the following;

  • Working in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales Ledger – management of ledgers, invoices, credits and receipts
  • Credit Control – pro-active management of aged debts, weekly reporting and management of customer credit limits

Assisting with:

  • Chasing overdue invoices via telephone and email
  • Cashbook – daily batch processing and bank reconciliations
  • Payroll administration – collation of timesheets and data entry for payroll runs
  • Producing daily flash reports and supporting with month end reporting
  • Preparing online banking payments as required
  • General finance administration, fielding queries via phone and email

 

The Candidate:

The successful Purchase Ledger will have:

  • AAT Level 3 or above; or be qualified by equivalent relevant experience
  • Excellent Computer and technology skills including MS Office and Excel
  • Previous experience of working within a busy, multi-skilled accounts role
  • Strong organisational skills with an eye for accuracy and detail
  • Confident communication skills with a professional telephone manner to deal with customers and suppliers
  • Willingness and flexibility to support wider tasks arising within a small team
  • Be a real team player with a “can do” attitude and the desire to further develop skill sets
