Salary: GBP24000 - GBP30000 per annum + benefits

Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting on an exclusive basis for an Accounts & Office Manager to join the team at a growing, family run business in the Scarborough area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to establish yourself in this newly created role and support the senior management team with the future development of the business. The successful Accounts & Office Manager will have previous experience of managing an office with sole responsibility for the finance function.  

Reporting into the Managing Director, key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Monthly VAT Returns
  • Payroll for circa 40 employees
  • Invoicing
  • Purchase and sales ledger postings
  • Credit control when required
  • Supporting with general management of a busy office
  • General administration tasks

To be considered for this Accounts & Office Manager position and be successful in post, you will need the following:

  • AAT Level 4 /CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience within an SME
  • Ability to set own deadlines and work without supervision
  • Strong systems knowledge; previous use of Sage would be advantageous
