Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a bookkeeper to work in an accountancy practice local to York.  If you are an experienced bookkeeper looking for your next challenge, or if you are an AAT qualified candidate looking for study support, this could the role for you.

The successful bookkeeper will be responsible for:

• General booking and accounts preparation for a range of clients including sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
• Payroll administration
• Maintaining strong client relationships

To be considered for this bookkeeper position, you will need the following experience:

• Previous experience in Payroll and Bookkeeping (preferably in a practice setting)
• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
• Have experience using QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or a relevant accountancy package
