Castle Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for an experienced, hands on Finance Manager for a very successful manufacturing organisation based in Bridlington, East Yorkshire.

  • As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of all the financial aspects of the business including preparation of trial balance for management accounts including accruals and prepayments, payroll, banking and reconciliations, recording and payment of invoices, company credit cards and company ledgers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of running the day to day finances of a busy organisation
  • Qualification through ACCA, CIMA or qualified by relevant experience
  • Preparation of trial balance for management accounts including accruals and prepayments
  • Preparation of monthly management and ad hoc reports
  • To complete weekly & monthly payroll
  • To complete quarterly VAT returns
  • Responsible for overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control
  • To be confident and professional in dealing with internal and external customers as required
  • Excellent communication skills across all channels
  • Ability to manage a small team of direct reports
  • Possess good IT skills, including Sage, MS Office and intermediate Excel
  • Maintain good daily routines to ensure the smooth running of the organisation
  • Have a “can do” attitude with a focus on solutions; implementing robust procedures and controls
  • Previous experience of working within a busy manufacturing or construction environment would be an advantage
