Purchase Ledger Clerk (VC6361) Whitby, England

Salary: GBP9 - GBP11 per hour

Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to work on a flexible part-time basis for a manufacturing company based in Whitby.

The successful candidate’s key responsibilities will include:

  • Processing invoices (approx. 60 per week)
  • Posting payments through the purchase ledger
  • Liaising internally and externally regarding invoice queries
  • Processing bank payments in sterling and foreign currency

To be considered for this Purchase Ledger Clerk position, you will need the following experience:

  • Previous purchase ledger experience
  • Experience on Sage accountancy package would be advantageous
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Comfortable user of MS Office including MS Excel

This role is a 9 months fixed term contract with flexible part-time working (over 3 days).
