Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently looking for a bookkeeper to work in Scarborough, your day to day duties will include:

• This is a great opportunity for a skilled Bookkeeper with excellent hands on accounting experience covering a broad remit on an interim basis.
• You will be responsible for the day to day running of all the financial aspects of the business including banking and reconciliations, recording and payment of invoices, purchase orders, VAT

To be considered for this exciting bookkeeper role, you will need the following experience:

• Previous experience of working as a bookkeeper running the day to day finances of a busy organisation
• Bookkeeping, sales ledger, purchase ledger, petty cash, bank reconciliation, cash sales, pre-payments, accruals, journals and VAT
• To be accurate and efficient; maintaining good daily routines to ensure the smooth running of the organisation
• To be a confident and professional communicator in dealing with internal and external customers as required
• Possess good IT skills, including MS Office and Sage Line 50
• Qualification through AAT or qualified by experience will be considered
• Previous experience of working with a creative or events organisation would be an advantage but is not essential
