Castle Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a Treasury Assistant to work for one of the region’s most prestigious manufacturing businesses based in Malton, North Yorkshire. A study support package may be available with this role if appropriate.

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with previous finance and accounting experience who is looking to build their career within a larger team
  • You will be a team player able to support both internal and external customers in an efficient, professional manner
  • You will have the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times and adhere to compliance requirements

 

Requirements:

This role will suit a flexible and committed Treasury Assistant who is looking to build on and enhance their existing finance experience. Duties will include; 

  • Processing bank payments and transfers
  • Downloading daily customer receipts from online banking system
  • Ad hoc reporting
  • Ensuring continuous improvement to processes and controls
  • Performing account reconciliations
  • Processing cheques
  • Posting bank receipts and maintaining bank information on Excel
  • Providing cover and support to other members of finance team
  • Resolving accounts and treasury queries

The successful candidate for the Treasury Assistant role will:

  • Possess a high degree of computer literacy - including MS Excel
  • Have excellent communication skills with the ability to resolve queries at all levels
  • Have the ability to identify process flaws and solutions
