Salary: GBP20000 - GBP25000 per annum

Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting on an exclusive basis for an experienced Accounts and Office Manager to join a successful and family run business based near Malton, North Yorkshire.

This is a fantastic position for a multi-skilled candidate who is seeking a role which offers variety and the opportunity to work autonomously. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role.

Reporting directly into the owner, key responsibilities for the successful Accounts and Office Manager will include:

  • Management of purchase and sales ledger
  • Production of monthly management accounts
  • Processing of weekly and monthly payroll (incl. pension calculations)
  • Calculation of invoices according to route mileages
  • General office management; purchasing, administration etc
  • Providing back-up support for Transport Manager when required

To be considered for varied Accounts and Office Manager role, you will:

  • Have previous experience in a fast paced and varied finance-based role
  • Be able to work autonomously
  • Be a committed and conscientious team player, willing to pick up ad hoc duties as required
  • Have previous experience using Sage or a similar accountancy package
  • Be a confident user of MS Excel
