Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for a Finance Analyst to work for an award-winning organisation based in York.

 The successful candidate will report into the Senior Finance Manager, assisting in the delivery of department objectives and will be responsible for providing accurate financial analysis in order to support business decisions. Ideally, you will be educated to degree level and hold relevant professional or specialised qualifications (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).

Key responsibilities will include:

• Providing analytical expertise with extensive modelling ability resulting in robust analysis for decision making across the business
• Supporting the Senior Finance Managers to provide finance business partnering across the group
• Provide financial challenge, support and insights to the business that deliver tangible benefits
• Assist the Senior Finance Managers and the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to deliver department objectives and the Group business plan, helping to ensure that all resources are fully optimised

To be considered for this exciting Finance Analyst role, you will:

• Hold or be working towards a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
• Management accounting experience within a commercial environment
