Assistant Accountant (VC6797) Malton, England
Castle Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join a fast-paced finance team in Malton, North Yorkshire.
The successful candidate will have solid experience in a finance environment as well as experience working with high volumes of financial data.
Reporting in to the Group Accountant your key responsibilities will include:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Month end accounting and reconciliation
- Assisting in yearend activities (incl. audit files and statutory accounts)
- Developing improvements to processes and controls
- Ad hoc reporting as required
To be considered for this exciting Assistant Accountant opportunity, you will:
- Be methodical and organised with excellent attention to detail
- Have a minimum of two years accounts office experience
- Be a finance graduate or be AAT qualified
- Be a confident user of Excel and have previous experience working with large data sets
- SAP experience would be advantageous
