A very exciting role for an ambitious Financial Controller to join an award-winning SME business which operates throughout the UK.  Working closely with the senior leadership team, you will help to implement new processes and systems. Based on the outskirts of Thirsk in North Yorkshire, easily commutable from York, Malton, Thirsk and surrounding areas
We would be keen to hear from you if you are an experienced Finance Manager, Management Accountant or an ambitious Financial Controller who has already worked within an SME environment.

You will also have:

• The ability to switch between being strategic and rolling your sleeves up to manage the day to day accounting requirements
• Experience in implementing new accounting systems and processes
• Excellent communication skills across all channels and levels
• Strong management of budgets, cash flow, profit forecasting and financial systems
• Experience of leading a small finance team and ensuring correct allocation of duties
• Ideally, you will be a CIMA, ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualified
