We have an immediate opportunity for a Receiving Inspector in our Santa Ana facility. This is a fulltime regular position with benefits including health & welfare, paid vacation, 401k, etc. The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of inspection and quality control operations of a visual, dimensional, and functional nature, making necessary critical observations, tests, or completing appropriate documentation as required. Duties include -
Inspect parts for compliance with specified requirements and adequacy of process controls, using calibrated equipment;
Read blueprints, measure/inspect components, assemblies, completes reports;
Review and approve documentation including material certificates, traceability documentation, process control, functional tests, demonstrations, etc. as it pertains to the requirements of inspected product.
Interface with Purchasing, Product and Quality staff;
High School diploma or equivalent and 2+ years experience in first article, in-process and final inspections on machine parts, assemblies, and / or sub-assemblies.
Ability to understand requirements as specified on engineering documentation and experienced in reading blue prints, GD & T.
Experience in using CMM, video inspection equipment and hand-held measuring instruments.
Experience in handling non-conforming product.
Working knowledge of MS Outlook, SAP.
Ability to apply basic mathematics principles including trigonometry.
