Linesman / Lineman - Sevenoaks -£45,500 - £56,000 + pension, transport
Excellent opportunity to join a large electrical contracting business.
We're looking for up to 5 experienced Linesmen to work within the southern part of UKPN. You will be involved with LV - 33kV maintenance, repair and installation work.
The company has a very long term framework contract and employs over 100 operatives in this location. As a result, you will not be required to travel outside of this region and can settle in one location.
You'll benefit from a very high standard of equipment, an excellent commitment to safety and demonstrable track record in this area and from a positive, motivated working environment.
Responsibilities:-
- Install, maintain and refurbish overhead lines from LV to 33kV
- Working live with LV cables
- LV switching
Requirements:-
Essential
- Experience working on wooden poles. Must be able to climb and be physically fit.
- Relevant and in-date DNO authorisations. We would also consider applicants whose authorisations have recently lapsed or candidates who can demonstrate a very good previous working history as a Linesman.
