Technical Business Analyst / (Security - SIEM)

I currently have an excellent opportunity for a technical BA to join a major bank in Sydney CBD. We are ideally looking for someone who is a strong character with solid SIEM onboarding experience. The role is focusing on onboarding Applications and Infrastructure log sources onto the bank’s Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Platform.

Responsibilities:

• Work with Business Stakeholders, System Owners and Technical SMEs to capture and document system and infrastructure details required for SIEM Onboarding.
• Identify system and infrastructure components requiring onboarding to SIEM based on understanding of system architecture and data flows.
• Collect requirements, analyse and deliver improvements to assist with onboarding of systems to SIEM.
• Identify delivery issues and risks, assist with mitigation strategies, and escalate where necessary.
• Identify security threats and raise security risks.
• Provide support and participate in SIEM Onboarding testing activities including component testing and system testing.

Experience:

• Minimum three years technical business analysis and/or process improvement experience
• Experience working with the SIEM Splunk product is desirable.
• Software and solution delivery lifecycle experience
• Experience working in the security domain
