An award winning locally owned and operated civil contractor, specialising in drainage, water and power installation around the Canterbury region. With over 20 staff they are experiencing a period of growth to combat a busy forward workload, which stems from a strong focus on workmanship, H&S and productivity.
The role
The role requires an experienced civil foreman/supervisor to lead a small crew on jobs and assist management with day to day work plans. The successful applicant will also be involved in H&S, quality checks and making sure targets are met onsite.
Role Requirements:
- 5+ yrs in Civil construction
- WTR
- Ability to read plans
- Experience using lasers and setting heights and levels
- Ideally experience in drainage, water and power
- Reliable
- Ability to work within a team
- H&S conscious
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
