Drainage Foreman

I am looking for an experienced Drainage Foreman to join a locally owned Drainage company experiencing a sustainable period of growth due to securing several large contracts. You will be joining a company that prides itself on their quality of work and relationships with clients. They are the kind of company who look after their employees and place emphasis on culture therefore it’s essential you are a motivated individual who can work well with others.

What’s on offer:

• Up to $35 per hour dependent on experience
• Commercial and Civil Projects across Christchurch and South Canterbury
• Temp-perm opportunity with ongoing full-time work
• Busy workload offering good weekly hours

Ideally you will:

• Have a broad range of experience across a range of machines
• Experience laying concrete and PVC pipe in both commercial and civil projects
• A strong background in reading plans and running jobs from start to finish
• Can supervise and lead crews of 3-4
• Take responsibility of problem solving onsite
• Be required to train and guide the crew through the job when needed

Applicants that are NZPGDB Certified/Registered will be considered favourably, as will CCC approved individuals.

You will have strong leadership qualities that can tackle challenging work autonomously and provide results through the crew you lead.

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
