My client is a leading Solutions Provider and is looking for an experienced Storage Engineer to be part of a new Data Centre division. You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the storage devices, as well as the SAN infrastructure. As part of the role will include producing documentation and standards for the provisioning of storage and storage devices to the hosting infrastructure, as well as operational and strategic reporting.
- Managing and maintaining of HP MSA and IBM v7000
- Brocade fibre channel SAN switch configuration and administration
- Managing encrypted storage
- Presenting LUN’s to VMWare virtualisation platforms
- Provisioning new storage devices
- Managing storage level backup
- Documentation and reporting
