My client is a leading solutions provider looking for an experienced Oracle Developer, mainly responsible for the development and support of BI Publisher reporting and data migration interfaces for the business.  You will be required to work collaboratively with other developers from within the team, and support business analysts, test analysts and business users.

Ideally you will be have the following experience

• Design, build, test and deployment of BI Publisher reports and database packages
• Analysis of reporting requirements and writing technical documentation
• Ensuring that all development adheres to defined coding standards/guidelines
• Monitoring the application support queue, and responding to assigned support requests
• Reporting progress to the Oracle Reports Lead on a daily basis

You will need to be highly competent in

• Experience of building reports using BI Publisher
• Database programming skills using Oracle PL/SQL
• Writing complex queries using Oracle SQL and a good understanding of relational databases
• Some experience of shell scripting using Linux
• Analytical and detailed approach to problem solving
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Some understanding of different development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall
