My client is a large household name, looking for a Senior COBOL developer to be an integral part of the team, responsible for the development and support of the internal ERP system.
You will be responsible for the following
- Design, build, test and deploy COBOL programs
- Analysis of technical requirements and writing technical documents
- All development adhers to best of practice coding standards/guildlines
You will need to have good knowledge of
- programming in COBOL - Preferably with Microfocus / AcuCOBOL
- understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- work with mininum supervision
- Analytical and detailed approch is a MUST !
