Cheshire based Managed Services Provider looking for a Server Specialist Engineer to act as Technical Lead for specific customers. This will involve periodic reviews of the customers’ estate, identifying risks, Single Points of Failure, enhancements and on-going development.
You will be involved in all technical aspects of the support, change and project provision to the customer and will be expected to gain a detailed understanding of the customers’ environment. It is important that as Technical Lead, you demonstrate an understanding of the long term objectives of the customer and that you are aligned with the customers’ requirements at all times.
The Server Specialist Engineer will undertake Installation, Configuration, Documentation, Support, Systems Administration and Diagnosis of customer hardware and software, using but not limited to:
- Windows Server 2008 R2 / 2012 R2
- Hyperv 2008, 2012
- Sharepoint 2007, 2010
- Exchange 2007, 2010, 2013
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365
- Active Directory
- Environmental Monitoring (Via PRTG or other network monitoring solutions)
Microsoft Certifications (MCITP, MCSE, MCSA, MCTS) will be priorities for interview AND holds a valid drivers license, subject to status !
