Salary: GBP0 - GBP70000 per annum + dependent on experience

Hampton’s are working exclusively with a leading Children’s Charity who are looking for a Head of Fostering to cover their England operations.

 

The Head of Fostering will provide professional leadership and overall management to drive the development, commercial growth and sustainability of a high-quality fostering services in England, ensuring that the needs of children and young people are fulfilled.

 

Main Duties:

  • Managing a team of geographically spread professional managers and specialist support
  • Ensure the provision of quality fostering services and standards are upheld
  • To achieve income sustainability and growth targets
  • Assume the role of designated Responsible Individual for England’s fostering services
  • Developing, overseeing and refreshing a commercial financial strategy to deliver agreed margins and growth and to justify further required investments.
  • Report on the performance of the financial strategy through robust and effective budget management techniques, timelines and reporting standards and requirements, supported by appropriate colleagues.

 

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Hold a current registration with the HCPC
  • NVQ Level 5 or above in Management or DMS or MBA
  • A degree or similar management qualification with a relevant Social Work qualification

 

Skills and experience:

  • At least five years’ experience as a senior manager
  • Project Management Experience
  • A successful track record of consistent achievement as a senior manager
