Hampton’s are currently working with a large residential and education provider who are in need of a Managing Director to cover their services across Central UK.

 

They are seeking an inspirational and committed leader to provide drive and vision for Operations Directors and Service Leaders across their region. This is a key post and the MD will work to increase quality and to action initiatives for growth and commercial success. Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, and sitting with on the Senior Management Team, the newly appointed MD will work with the team to ensure the best possible social care and educational outcomes for the children and young people in their care.

 

Whilst experience of the Education and/or Social Care is beneficial, we would welcome applications from proven and established, experienced senior leaders.

 

Job Profile in brief:

  • Child-centred approach – ensuring the services are safe and delivering individually tailored support and outcomes for each young person, and they are supported to develop to their full potential.
  • Ensure clear accountability for all other key deliverables on quality and people are met with continuous improvement plans in place.
  • Commercial focus, growth and profitability are appropriately managed according to current processes and systems.
  • Ensure robust processes in place to deliver change projects such as acquisitions or major bids.
  • Anticipate potential challenges and issues and support the day-to-day issues of a diverse region.
  • Support good governance through robust reporting and analysis.

 

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven commercial ability to deliver budgetary and growth commitments, and track record of being effective in terms of with commissioning and funding arrangements.
  • Experience of business development, particularly with local authorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrate ability to lead and influence at a range of levels, including senior levels.
  • Ability to set up and run processes that are effective in ensuring consistent safe delivery of an innovative care service and support for those requiring care.
  • Demonstrative creativity combined with practical approach.

 

Salary: up to £100k (dependent on experience) + generous package
