Social Worker required for work within the Initial Response Team in the Devon area. Competitive rates of pay up to £38ph depending on experience, long term contracts. Roles are available in Newton Abbot, Exeter & Tiverton all with good transport links from the M5. Flexible working offered and discussed at interview stage.
Social Worker is required to join a Childrens team within the front line services Initial Response Team based in the Devon region (Newton Abbot/ Exeter/ Tiverton) in a well managed supportive teamSocial Workers will be working in this front line services and need previous experience of working within the Assessment setting within Social Care.
You will undertake initial assessments and section 47 Child Protection investigations and hold all open cases of ongoing family support and children subject to a child protection plan. Allow for the provision of high quality support and intervention.
Candidates will be managing a diverse and complex caseload within deadlines. Constant contact within all teams of the Children's & Families Social Care and external agencies to address children's and their families needs with best possible outcomes.
Communication with line managers identifying professional development and training that would be beneficial personally and to the team as a whole.
You will be HCPC registered, ideally a driver with access to own car and able to reside and work in the UK
