TEAM LEADER – NON REVENUE WATER – KENYA
European consulting engineer is seeking an experienced Team Leader with significant experience in NRW (Non Revenue Water) for a 2 year project in Kenya.
The relevant Team Leader will lead a mix of local and international experts consulting the local ministry on improving running water to the local area.
The ideal NRW Team Leader should be available to mobilise for this project in November/December 2014 and be available for the full 2 year duration.
The profile;
- 15 + years experience in NRW water and team leading
- Significant past Sub-Saharan Africa experience
- Past donor funded project experience; World Bank, AFD, AFDB etc
- Fluent in English
The Role:
- Management of the bulk meter through capturing and processing of meter readings and acting on discrepancies there of
- Liaise and management of other Operations teams who are responsible for routine meter readings.
- Management and assistance with Rural Water Demand and Leakage benchmarking exercises
- Manage Asset Management activities, including maintaining underground asset records, capturing of new assets information and site investigations into determining information for low confidence asset
- Be the face to the client for duration of project
The appropriate International Team Leader (NRW) will attract a salary of circa €9,000 - €10,000 per month plus accommodation, car (with driver) and flights.
