Position Overview
As a Calibre Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET) Product Specialist focused on Strategic Accounts, you will work with account teams to drive the adoption of Mentor Graphics Calibre software.

We are seeking a dynamic and professional technical person, who enjoys multi-tasking in a fast paced, fun and friendly environment. In this position you will be focused on technical support of Mentor Graphics leading edge IC Manufacturing tool suite, including solutions for helping customer move designs from GDSII to Manufacturing.

The Product Specialist is expected to manage multiple customer issues concurrently, and be very effective at customer relationships. This customer interface is not only Process engineers, but first or second level management. The Product Specialist must align with Account Managers and Strategic Application Engineers to exceed quota, as they proactively manage customer accounts to success. Sales support roles include product demonstrations, evaluations, and competitive benchmarking. The Product Specialist plays an active role in account planning and working as part of the account team. The team develops solutions to customer problems based on their insight into the customer needs and issues that ultimately results in revenue.

The job will be based in Malta, New York with as much as 25% travel

Responsibilities Include:
•Supporting Mentor's Calibre tool suite focused on OPC / RET applications in pre-sales and post-sales situations;
•Helping account teams worldwide who have responsibilities to support the Semiconductor Manufacturing companies;
•Supporting the introduction of new, cutting edge technologies in the Calibre RET family into Semiconductor Manufacturing companies;
•Illustrating the value Mentor Graphics brings to customers by assisting them in their evaluations of Mentor Graphics' Calibre family of software; developing and delivering software demonstrations and technical presentations; performing benchmark evaluations for customers.
•Assisting client with deployment of Mentor Graphics' software to solve their technical development challenges; managing and coordinating the technical relationships between our client and the Mentor Graphics' Account team and product marketing.
•Identifying, monitoring and resolving performance challenges on large computer systems.
•Provide on-site support when issues arise with client’s use of Mentor Graphics Calibre products.


Job Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
•Education: B.S.E.E Minimum; M.S.E.E. preferred;
•Must be an expert with OPC and RET technology and have 10+ years of hands-on Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET) implementation experience; Experience with competitive tools and flows will be an asset.
•Broad understanding of RET methodologies and flows including process modeling challenges
•Must enjoy working with customers and in large team environment.
•Expert level scripting / programming skills;
•A working familiarity of Unix and Linux OS, and previous experience with scripting or C programming required.
•Strong communication skills;
•Exposure to sales and applications environment is a plus.
•Travel, including international, is required;
•Position location is remote in Malta, NY with most time spent on customer site.
