As a part of Enterprise Software Services, you will be responsible for the User Interface analysis, UI development and delivery of software solutions for Mentor’s applications. You will act as a liaison between customers and IT to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions. In addition you will provide user training on any new functionality or other related new applications.
You will work closely with a dynamic international team to develop intuitive easy-to-use interfaces across Mentor’s custom-developed applications and enterprise packages based on SAP and Siebel. You will lead or participate in global projects, gather requirements, recommend solutions and help develop them. The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
•BS degree or equivalent additional experience
•Minimum 5 years’ experience in a UI Analyst/Developer role
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in a business system analyst role
•Demonstrated skills with Human Factors/User-experience methodology and design, including tablet and mobile solutions
•Strong written and verbal communication skills
•Basic graphic design skills
•Quick to adopt new technology
•Demonstrated skill and knowledge of business process analysis tools and techniques
•Excellent facilitation skills
•Experience with IT software development lifecycle methodologies and processes, including object-oriented development.
•Solid analytical, negotiation and problem solving skills
•Experience leading small to medium size project team
•Experience working with 3rd party IT integration partners
•Ability to work flexible hours in support of global customers
•Knowledge, awareness of and sensitivity to cultural differences and norms.
Additional preferred skills:
•Experience with Java 1.6, Grails, Spring 3.1, Struts2, JQuery
•Experience with WebLogic 12C application server and Hibernate 4
•Experience with Web Services using SOAP and REST
•Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases
•Experience with ClearCase and ant build scripts for configuration management
•HP Mercury, JUnit and Watir test case automation
