Accessibility Analyst Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking an Accessibility Analyst for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC. The  Accessibility Analyst is responsible for the implementation of initiatives that ensure products and services are accessible to people with disabilities for Digital Client platforms. He or she will be responsible for working with product teams to help identify and scope accessibility features. This role will work directly with the Accessibility team to maintain support standards for accessibility and digital content compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accessibility review of web content, mobile apps and digital assets
• Implement accessibility process controls to ensure compliance
• Work closely with multiple development and product management teams to ensure accessibility is part of the entire development cycle

Requirements:

• 3-5+ years of accessibility experience, prefer in a corporate environment
• Must have WCAG 2.0, and/or Section 508 experience
• Experience as a Senior hands on member of the team
• Knowledge of ARIA, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Will need to understand coding
• 3 plus years of experience in quality research or analytical field, software and product testing, process improvement, business of financial analysis
• 3 plus years of experience in a primary role related to accessibility compliance, leading accessibility testing and validation efforts
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written
• Significant experience performing accessibility audits on web applications, iOS apps, Android apps AND providing solutions to developers
• Significant experience with various Assistive Technologies including JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack, automated code checking tools like WAVE, AMP, or Axe, and low vision settings
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

• This position will be a busy one. Self-drive and a desire to work hard, cranking through a backlog and keeping up with multiple fast-paced teams is required
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Thorough, methodical, problem solver and creative with extreme attention to detail
• Expert at time management as well as working & finding answers to questions independently
