NCC Operations Technician - 2239045 (BBBH537-2239045) Broomfield, Colorado
Position includes the following, but other duties may be assigned to meet business needs. Receives trouble calls and opens trouble tickets for resolution; upon completion closes tickets; monitors customer network performance and connectivity using network management software and tools; runs auto scripted tests, checks processes, and refers trouble to appropriate repair center; understands and can utilize the administrative and technical escalation processes; tracks trouble resolutions and statuses customers; participates in quality control, performance improvement measurement & tracking and documents processes; coordinates maintenance activity with other technicians, and dispatches field technicians. Reviews service logs and tickets for proper handling and resolution. Provides ticket updates and other information to customers.
IP Networking experience required. CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA or other networking certifications are desired. Experience with one or more the folllowing is required: Routing prototocols OSPF, BGP, ISIS, RIP, and/or EIGRP; LAN/WAN technologies; Layer 2 protocols MPLS, RSVP, LDP, CDP, IPVPN, Spanning Tree, and/or ATM; Troubleshooting Network Hardware equipment vendors Juniper, Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Overture, and/or Brocade; Network Operations procedures and practices: Experience with JUNOS, Cisco IOS.
