Position Profile: (LNP Project manager- Manage Modem Porting) Responsible for day-to-day activities within the LNP Project Manage modem team. This position will have full responsibility for the delivery of LNP installation, change, and disconnects in and effort to meet critical service activation metrics such as Customer Commit Dates, Customer Requested dates, Port Request Date, LNP FOC and other sub team service activation metrics. Support core product group installation, change, disconnects and groom activates especially in the areas of Manage modem and Project based porting.. This person will be responsible for ensuring that all manual and automated process steps are executed according to standard operating procedure. This individual will also be responsible for working transactions that fall outside of critical service activation operational metrics. Maintain a close working relationship with the Service Management organization and Tier III operations groups to ensure proper customer and service handoff for post install service management activities. A strong understanding of current Level3 network design and is a plus. Assist in the development and execution of assigned personal training plans and employee development plans. This manager will be responsible for ensuring that the assigned personnel have adequate training opportunities. An emphasis on Verizon LNP order processing is a plus. Candidate must be able to work manual and automated provisioning process in order to turn up Level 3 communications switched services products. Candidate will be responsible for working exception based and standard processing queues. Candidate must have good written and verbal communication skills. The candidate must be able to work with both internal and external customers. Candidate must be capable of working in a dynamic and ever changing environment. Must have solid provisioning skills and must be familiar with the following: NPAC, LSR Processing, CSR Process and the SOA Verisign Interface.
