Mobile Operations Analyst

Mobile Operations Analyst Summary:

The Mobile Operations Analyst will focus on the ongoing operations and support of mobile applications, once they have reached production status.  This role will act as the point of with the project team and client, throughout the life of a contract.  The Operations Analyst will ensure that the mobile app functions as designed, support testing and planned technology releases, identify and plan for mobile app maintenance, and drive the collection and analysis of mobile app-related data.  Additionally, the Operations Analyst will support multiple projects simultaneously, and will work with the broader Mobile Solutions team to organize and prioritize development and testing efforts. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement processes to support the mobile operations needs of projects where mobile apps are in production
  • Maintain a backlog of prioritized enhancement and maintenance items
  • Create and maintain a schedule of maintenance releases, upcoming testing, and other events that impact the mobile app space.
  • Provide mobile app testing support for back-end technology releases, to identify and mitigate any mobile impacts, track defects and provide remediation support as needed
  • Interface with clients, project stakeholders, and senior management in developing and prioritizing maintenance and operations calendar
  • Aggregate and track mobile-related performance data for production applications, and develop analytics dashboards to articulate trends and patterns
  • Track and respond to user feedback that is submitted through the App Store or Google Play
  • Partner with project teams and clients to drive adoption and awareness of mobile apps
  • Establish and track project plans, tasks, issues, risks, etc. in working with business-side project teams, technical resources, and vendors.
  • Escalate critical and time-sensitive issues to appropriate stakeholder for resolution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferred field of study in Business IT, Engineering, Project Management, or Psychology.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze information and make recommendations to management
  • Experience writing and driving the gathering of business requirements
  • Experience writing and executing test scripts
  • Project management skills with the ability to deliver a technology project on time
  • Strong decision-making and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/duties in a fast-paced environment.
  • Results driven, service oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently. Trustworthy with the ability to maintain highest level of integrity and trust.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collectively and independently in a remote location.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
  • Experience managing apps within Apple App Store and Google Play is a plus.
