The Role:
They are looking for an afternoon workshop supervisor to join their maintenance team at their workshop in south Sydney. You will be responsible for the management of staff, ensuring all matters relation to mechanical services are achieved and will be reporting directly to the NSW state service manager.
The Workshop
They have a large modern workshop with 15 bays, 2 wash bays and 2 full inspection pits. They also have an RMS certified brake tester and shaker as well as all bays having automated grease and oil feeds which are pumped into the pits.
Your duties will include, but not limited to;
- Supervise, plan and coordinate the fleet maintenance during the afternoon shift
- Provide advice, direction and feedback on the workshop performance to motivate the team
- Adhere to current WHS policies and ensure that staff
- Lead a team of 5-6 Heavy vehicle mechanics
- Step back onto the tools when required to get the work completed
Hours
Monday to Friday
- Afternoon Shift 3pm- 11pm
Saturdays the workshop is open
- 6am – 12pm
- Regular Overtime
- $46-$48p/h + O/T rates + Super
Your Value
- Heavy vehicle trade qualified
- Supervisory experience will be advantageous
- 2-3 years post trade experience will be advantageous
- Own Tools (Hand) up to 3/4” inch
- Experience on European trucks will be advantageous
