Talent Acquisition Specialist Summary:

Signature Consultants is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for an opportunity in Madison, WI. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will participate in the development of internal and external hiring strategies for based on an assessment of the business. In this role, you will be responsible for attracting quality technical and non-technical candidates, as well as managing the hiring and recruiting process for all US locations. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will also provide guidance to management regarding effective interviewing and hiring practices, as well as partner with management to create excellent onboarding experiences. In addition to Talent Acquisition responsibilities, you will be responsible for collaborating with the HR Manager, IT leaders and Corporate Training to create and facilitate training and development programs that positively impact employee performance and productivity within the organization. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaboratively manage the full life-cycle recruiting process 
  • Work closely with HR Manager and hiring managers to understand technical personnel needs and hiring criteria within department; prepare and execute recruitment plan
  • Review job requisitions for clarification and accuracy prior to posting jobs
  • Review applicant sourcing and make adjustments to plans as needed
  • Partner with HR Manager, leaders and MarCom to develop an internal employer branding campaign, strategies and digital content/printed materials to attract top talent
  • Find and recruit candidates via multiple sources including social media, user groups/meet ups, Internet, college/university campuses and the Employee Referral Program
  • Maintain established service level agreements to manage customer expectations and quality standards; identifies opportunities for improvement
  • Screen and interview candidates
  • Build relationships on college campuses; represent at career fairs, on campus events, etc.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of onboarding plans
  • Train and educate managers on proper actions and effective decision making throughout the hiring process
  • Ensure all necessary pre-employment background check requirements are satisfied in accordance with Federal and State laws
  • Develop and facilitate the internal promotion process
  • Act as a consultant to management; evaluate staffing model, make recommendations and deliver solutions to resolve staffing issues
  • Protect our customers, our employees, and our brands by incorporating security and compliance in all decisions and daily job responsibilities; follow security policies and procedures; continuously identify and recommend opportunities for improving security

Talent Development Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with HR Manager and Corporate Training & Development to conduct training needs assessment to determine critical skills needed to meet business objectives and implement training programs to help achieve those objectives, using adult learning principles and individual learning styles
  • Research, design, and implement organizational surveys, continuous listening solutions, and action planning processes to support alignment with company goals and initiatives
  • Analyze talent data and make recommendations for improvement, including the creation of reports and dashboards for business leaders and senior leadership
    Research, design, implement and recommend integrated talent development solutions, including individual assessments, coaching, mentoring, and career development planning
  • Facilitate interactive training sessions in a variety of settings that meet the learning needs of a diverse audience
  • Review and implement applicable Corporate-developed training programs
  • Manage multiple training programs and vendor partnerships/memberships; create reporting to ensure offerings are valuable, relevant and effectively applied by participants
  • Perform administrative tasks related to planning, communicating, and conducting training

Required:

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with entry-level, experienced, and contractor/contingent hires; proven experience and understanding of IT roles strongly preferred
  • Deep and varied sourcing experience and knowledge inclusive of internet, employee referral programs, cold calling/networking techniques and social networking tools
  • Previous Applicant Tracking System (ATS) experience is required, preferrably with iCIMS
  • Proven track record working in a high-volume and high-demand recruiting environment
  • Ability to build brand awareness and generate interest in the markets we serve
  • Experience with coaching and mentoring hiring managers in effective interviewing skills
  • Outstanding professional communication skills and proven relationship building skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must be tenacious yet consistently diplomatic, highly flexible, well organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent ability to work in a team environment and/or as an individual contributor as required
  • Must have reputation for positive impact and outstanding work ethic
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Strong user knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and education
  • 2+ yrs experience successfully recruitment of technology professionals
  • Knowledge of a variety of technologies including application development, networking, operations, engineering, security and IT support
  • Prefer experience with university relations and/or creating diversity based recruiting efforts
  • Ability to travel may be required for meetings, sales calls and training
