Senior Business Analyst (JO-1410-1333) Alpharetta, Georgia

This is a fulltime exempt level position reporting to the Senior Director of Design & Testing for Outcomes Health Information Solutions based in our Alpharetta, GA location. The Senior Business Analyst works closely with the Sr. Director of Design and Testing to understand the business problems to be solved, to define the features and functionality within the application, and to ensure that the solution delivered meets the needs of the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain OHIS application requirements in response to a business need.
- Define and document customer use cases, business functions and processes.
- Act as a liaison between departmental end-users, IT operations and Application Development in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of OHIS scheduling and clinical applications.
- Perform QA testing as appropriate and respond to QA team questions for requirements clarification.
- Facilitate User Acceptance testing, coordinating the creation of acceptance criteria, documenting issues, recording testing results, and communicating to management.
- Provide input into training curriculum and conduct informal training sessions covering assigned applications.
Qualifications:
- Prior business process analysis experience, either through previous Business Analyst position or OHIS operational experience.
- 3-5+ years in healthcare industry.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and prioritize work with minimal direction based on business needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to adapt to change; able to shift gears and change direction on projects
