

Experis is partnered with a global manufacturer and they have an immedate need for a Human Resources Supervisor at their McCalla, AL, facility, where they are a parts supplier to the automotive industry. McCalla is just west of Birmingham.
The HR supervisory reports to the plant HR manager and will have the following responsibilities
Exempt and non-exempt recruiting; new employee orientation; Workers' Compensation, medical and safety programs of the plant; corrective action process; wage survey within labor market to determine competitive wage rate; Prepare budget of Human Resource operation; exit interviews to determine reasons behind separation; reduce absenteeism and turnover; represents organization at personnel related hearings and investigations; company benefits plans and programs for group insurance, hospitalization, retirement and vacations; and direct training efforts of the plant through in-plant training and programs designed to improve team member skills in production, quality and safety.
Requires a Bachelor's degree, and be profient in coaching, counseling, and training; have 3-5 years experience with HRIS & time ttendance systems; 3-5 years experience in a labor/union environment; and be an advanced user of Microsoft Office
