The opportunity

We’re currently looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to be based in our central London office near Trafalgar Square.

In this critical role you will be responsible for managing the internal and external communications for the Health, Nutrition, WASH and HIV global initiative for Save the Children. The global initiative provides a framework within which the 30 Save the Children Members and Save the Children International align to work towards the elimination of preventable child deaths. Specifically you will develop the communications strategy, develop and disseminate communications material which is compliant and consistent with our brand, and facilitate cross-organizational learning and sharing.

In order to be successful you will bring demonstrable experience within internal and external communications, ideally within a public health/nutrition or related environment. You’ll have proven experience of having developed a communications strategy, be a creative communicator, and an excellent writer and editor with a high level of attention to detail. You’ll also have the ability to build networks across cultures and work as part of a geographically dispersed team.
