Job Description
Cox Communications is looking for passionate customer-focused representatives to respond to customer questions, problems, and requests regarding account balances, service additions, billings/payments, or other general or account-related services while at the same time educating the customer and promoting Cox services.

Reporting to the Call Center Supervisor, the Customer Care Representative is part of a supportive, service-oriented team that takes incoming account-related calls from residential customers for video, telephone, high-speed internet service or wireless service. Representative serves as a trusted provider to Cox customers through providing a seamless and consistent customer experience. The Customer Care representative also helps grow the company through capturing opportunities to offer additional or upgraded services to customers as available.

Primary Responsibilities
Promote Quality Customer Experience
Work in a call center environment providing excellent customer care by greeting customers, asking questions and actively listening to customers to understand their needs or requests

Provide seamless customer experience through documenting call details and new account information into the computer system and completing any forms required to request action by other departments

Build customer loyalty by placing follow-up calls to customers after receiving acknowledgment of action taken by other Cox departments

Problem Solving
Determine the appropriate answer, response, or solution by interpreting relevant information in light of the customers circumstances

Educate customers by explaining bills and Cox policies and procedures concerning prices, billing and service

Perform any necessary calculations pertaining to fees, time periods, or dates

Drive Business Growth
Grow the company through identifying sales lead generation opportunities, promoting Cox services, and offering service contracts. Add contracts as authorized by customers

Provide seamless customer service through partnering with Sales for identified sales leads and Technical Support for customer assistance with non account-related troubleshooting

Minimum Requirements
6 months work experience providing service directly to customers
6 months experience using a computer
16 years of age or older
High school graduate or GED or equivalent work experience
Eligibility to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications
6 months experience working in a position that requires meeting sales goals
