Castle Engineering are recruiting an experienced Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their well known and well respected food manufacturing client based on the outskirts of York working Monday to Friday.

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Carrying out planned and routine maintenance
• Working as part of the team to attend all production machinery breakdowns, diagnosing both electrical and mechanical faults and subsequent repair.
• You will work on various machinery upgrades and modification projects and be able to drive continuous improvement ideas across the factory floor.

The ideal candidate will be time served and have both electrical and mechanical maintenance skills, you will be confident and decisive in your ability to diagnose and repair fast moving production machinery. Ideally you will have worked in the food or FMCG sector but all candidates are encouraged to apply. This role is working on a rotating 6am until 2pm and 2pm until 10pm shift pattern.
