Engineering Technician - Driffield based manufacturer - Days based role.

My client is a leading manufacturing business based in Driffield and they are looking to recruit an Engineering Technician who has recently completed their apprenticeship to join their team. The successful candidate will have finished their apprenticeship in the last 2 years and have a good understanding of  CI, PPM and Root Cause Analysis.

You will be part of a sociable and hard working maintenance team and in your role you will focus on directing the team towards creating a world class engineering division. You will have specific responsibility around sharing best practice and identifying better and more effective ways of working including updating the current PPM schedule and driving a culture of improvements.

Ideally you will have worked within a LEAN manufacturing environment and have a good understanding if not practical experience of Continuous Improvement methodologies and have good Root Cause Analysis Techniques and experience. You will be forward thinking, a positive team player and a creative engineer.

This role works on a shift pattern working 12 hour day shifts across all 7 days during the week and the salary is £31,000 (max)
