Maintenance Engineer / Shift Engineer - DAYS (JRDM15) Huddersfield, England
Castle Engineering are working with a growing, forward thinking food manufacturing business based in the Huddersfield area of West Yorkshire who are recruiting a days based Shift Engineer to join their team of 5. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that has continuous improvement at the top of its agenda and a business that wants to make a difference. Suitable candidates will be forward thinking, self starters and experienced engineers form either a mechanical or electrical background. You will be able to work at speed and be able to think outside of the box, finding solutions to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum.
The role:
You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance as well as attending breakdowns and diagnosing both mechanical and electrical faults.
You will also be involved in installations and machinery modifications.
Ideally you will have PLC experience but training will be provided and candidates should ideally be looking to become multi-skilled.
You will work closely with the operational staff in understanding their frustrations and also be able to train them on basic machinery maintenance.
You will be highly motivated, a self starter who is passionate about what they do. You will want recognition for your skills and want to be part of a growing enthusiastic tea.
This role is working Monday to Friday- 5:30am until 2:30pm / 1:15pm to 10:15pm / 10pm until 6am
