Production Manager (VC3508) Scarborough, England
Castle are currently recruiting for an experienced Production Manager to manage the daily operations of a busy Food Manufacturing site based in the Scarborough area.
You will have experience of;
- Working within Food Manufacturing, ideally gained some experience within a High Risk department
- Working within a busy fast paced environment
- Management of teams
- Proven success in implementing change
- Promoting Lean Manufacturing, focusing on reducing overhead costs, reducing waste, increasing
- Organisation and Planning, ensuring KPI's are met.
- BRC Quality Standards
Responsibilities:
- Drive the business forward implementing new improved working practices
- Motivating the factory team providing direction, education and introducing new ways of working and thought processes.
- Promoting Continuous Improvement focusing on customer service and quality working with large retailers
- Ensuring Food Hygiene standards are met at all times
- Ensuring H&S is maintained
The Benefits:
- The role is based in the Scarborough area so is easily commutable from York, Bridlington, Malton, Driffield, Beverley, Hull and Leeds
- The salary for the position is up to £30,000 for the right level of experience
- The hours for the role are days, with shift patterns varying slightly based on business needs. There will also be weekend work included (roughly 1 weekend in 4), with time given back in lieu
