Castle Engineering are working with a well known food manufacturing business based in Tunbridge Wells who are expanding their engineering team and are looking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer working on a days only basis. T his is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking and growing business where staff development is at its core.  

The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:

• Working as part of a team you will be responsible for attending breakdowns and diagnosing faults; both electrical and mechanical.
• You will carry out preventative maintenance tasks and be involved in machine upgrades and installation.
• You will also be involved in making improvements to the facilities and well as daily maintenance of the machinery.
• Machinery includes flow , Multivac, check weighers, metal detectors and conveyors amongst others.

You will be time served and ideally have worked within the food manufacturing or FMCG sector and be able to work within a highly automated production environment. You will have excellent fault finding skills and ideally be multi-skilled as an engineer. Successful candidates will be qualified to a minimum of level 3 within an engineering discipline.

Although this role is working days only we also have a 4 on /o ff days and nights position as well as a back shift role working 4pm until midnight- Please contact us for more details.
