Maintenance Engineer (JR4562) Scarborough, England
Castle Engineering are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a large and well known food manufacturer in the Scarborough area. Ideally you will be electrically biased.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for:
- Working on a fast paced and highly automated production facility with new machinery. You are expected to have worked within the food sector previously and be able to work closely with the production team.
- You will be required to diagnose and rectify electrical faults and should have good knowledge and or experience of working on PLC's.
- You will be able to work in a timely manner and be able to carry out preventative maintenance as well as attend breakdowns to minimise downtime in the factory.
The role requires candidates to work within a 5s and lean manufacturing environment that is incredibly fast paced and demanding at times. Candidates should have this experience ideally
You should have a positive attitude towards your work and be self motivated. You will be time served with relevant engineering qualifications and have a 'can-do' attitude towards your work and role. The basic salary is circa £36,000 plus overtime working a shift pattern of both days and nights.
